I've been in Network Marketing for almost 20 years now, and I've seen all types of companies, products & systems (I've been in programs that have sold everything from website builders (no, not GDI) to telecommunications (that company went broke several years ago) to juices (I was in a few juice companies) and everything else in between (yes, including Quixtar & Melaleuca ... companies that have been around for a long time (but, man, they were impossible for me to market!)).

I've had a few "challenges" along the road to MLM success, and I'm sure that you've had the same:

		With the number of companies that I've been in, you're probably right if you thing I ran out of a warm market quickly (and I really hated doing the "Friends & Family" list, the "Your Lawyer, Doctor, Optometrist, Dentist (blah, blah, blah)" list ... every list under the sun, yeah, I wrote them out). I burnt through my warm market list like "Scorched Earth".
		Then there was the dreaded "Cold Market"! I've tried everything ... pull-tab posters, buying biz-op leads, attended tradeshows, etc. You name it, I've done it!
		And then the next big problem I've had waqs trying to get my group to duplicate what I was doing. The biggest lesson I have learned was that you can't teach someone unless they're willing to learn. (You really can't force them to build the business if they don't want to build it in the first place. Then, why did they, do you ask, get into Network Marketing? I can't answer that question!)

I finally came to the conclusion that building a Network Marketing business the traditional way doesn not work for most people (especially in today's day & age of the Internet).

And, at least for me, doing the "40-40-40 plan" is not an option for me. I've seen my father get to "retirement" age. "Retirement" age?! Who in the hell are they kidding? The only way many people at that age will retire is if they're they're "underground".

I told myself not to get discouraged! There was a way to build a Network Marketing business in the Internet age. You've probably heard the "malarchy" that Network Marketing is dead with the advent of the Internet. There is a way to generate massive leads to build a strong Network Marketing business.

Building a Network Marketing business is no longer about selling products, services or comp plans. It's all about marketing "you", and telling them (not convincing!) what is "in it for them" if they join you.
